The transatlantic rally ‘Viking Explorers’ is under attack from former Spanish-German partner. Lawsuits has been initiated by the founder, Swedish boating journalist Mike Westin, to protect the intellectual copyrights and the economic interests violated by the former partner.
The first lawsuit was held in a Civil Court, regarding the intellectual copyrights of the symbol/logotype. This case has been won and the rights ascertained to Mike by the court.
The next step is in a Criminal Court regarding the act of trying to illegally take over the event for the main purpose of gaining 100% control of the income of the event. There are most likely more civil court lawsuits following this.
Meanwhile, everybody is advised to stay away from having any business with Viking Explorers until all lawsuits are settled.
